Curating
I understand curatorial practice as a creative exercise in artistic production, mediation, translation and communication whose aim is to generate new contexts for people, processes, things, texts, discourses, and places to exist and resist together.
As a curator, I work autonomously, but recognise that I am completely interdependent and I make a point of working with others collaboratively and fairly.
I have worked with partners and institutions such as Museo Reina Sofía, documenta fifteen, BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, Moderna Museet, Visible (Fondazione Prada/Fondazione Pistoletto), Kulturhuset, Konsthall C, Trampoline House, Project Art Works, Manifesta 12, Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Konstfack, ARCO art Fair, Hablarenarte, Matadero Madrid, Spanish Embassy in Stockholm/AECID, British Council, EUNIC Stockholm, or Index Contemporary Arts Foundation, amongst others.
This portfolio contains curatorial work from 2023, all the way back to 2015.
Current and recent projects are larger, multi-partner endeavours and are listed schematically.
