Join us for this special in conversation between researcher, curator, translator and educator, Carlota Mir and Polly Wright, Programme Producer at Brighton CCA. This discussion takes Mir’s chapter Stretching the Institution, Cultivating Interdependency: Feminist Curating as Political Organising in the Post-Crisis Spanish State featured in the recently published book Curating as Feminist Organizing as a starting point and will introduce her current work with Project Art Works. There will be space for questions, thoughts and making connections facilitated by Wright.

Carlota Mir (1991) is a researcher, curator, translator and educator currently based in Madrid. She graduated in Art History and French at the University of Sussex in 2013 and has lived and worked across Europe for the past decade. Her research and curatorial practice centre an expanded notion of feminisms coming from different socially engaged positions that intersect.
